The Snow Ark
A winter pact : dreams of saving their family
The story
In the great hold of the ark Nightpiercer, the city of Vhal-Serein has lived under snow for thirteen winters. Your teen’s sister is burning with fever and the medicine is locked in ice. At the top of the bell tower, the Snow Bell lets you ask one thing of Winter, a faceless figure of frost who keeps accounts. He grants the cure, and names his price: every melted snowflake will cost a memory. Under your teen’s steps the city thaws, all the way to the sealed watch post, where a star that no longer grows reveals the Steward’s secret: the ark has stopped. To get it moving again, they will have to melt the bow lake — and trust a notebook, because what is written does not melt.
